The one I have for sale is a very special one. It represents the 50th Anniversary of Ganz (in the year 2000 but was manufactured in 1999. He has a patchwork heart on his chest that is embroidered "GANZ 50". ). I adored the entire Ganz Cottage Collectibles series when it was launched in 1997/1998. Even though they weren't made of mohair nor were they terribly expensive, I thought they had so much character and they are made so well. I bought doubles and triples of my favorites. They are charming and nostalgic. The one I have for sale is a very special one. It represents the 50th Anniversary of Ganz (in the year 2000 but was manufactured in 1999. He is simply called "Old Friend" and comes with a plush little kewpie doll with a resin face. He is hefty and measures 16" long - is fully jointed. The doll measures 6". He has a patchwork heart on his chest that is embroidered "GANZ 50". He is in mint condition with both paper tags. I'm downsizing my bear/panda collection and selling all the doubles. My home is smoke free and was displayed in a glass cabinet away from windows. He is even more charming looking in person!
