Elegant designs included crown and floral brooches, crosses, bracelets, necklaces, pins, and earrings. This vintage necklace is 18 inches long and weighs 1.0 ounce.  The necklace makes a style and design statement with over 90 Aurora Borealis rhinestones in the piece.   It has over 70 round AB rhinestones that are 3mm in diameter and it has 19 marquise AB rhinestones; 12 which measure 10 by 5mm and 7 which measure 14 by 7mm.  Marquise stones are a favored shape in B. David jewelry and these marquise stones are front and center in this piece.  All of the stones are prong set. The necklace is rhodium plated and the reverse of the necklace is beautifully finished, which is one of the standards of quality in B. David jewelry(see photo).  A vintage hook clasp is the closure for the necklace and the B.David signature (the B.David name inside a divided square (first used in the 1950s))  is on the reverse of the rhinestone portion of the clasp (see photo).  The piece is truly spectacular.  The shine and sparkle are beautiful and the color changes of the Aurora Borealis stones provide an added level of interest.  The piece is preowned and in excellent condition.   This necklace is a wonderful example of the fine quality and superior craftsmanship of jewelry produced by the B.
