Here the inner part of the dish/ashtray is a brown-mahogony color, and the outer layer is a honey gold color. This is wrapped in a faceted shell of clear glass. The overall optic effect is glorious. Here is a beautiful Italian art glass ashtray. CONDITION NOTE: There is a chip, about 1/4" wide on the inner rim, see photos where it is pointed to with the tip of the pencil. Other than that in rather good shape, with some age-related scratches from use, especially on the bottom side. Still displays beautifully as you can observe in photos. The ashtray features the sommerso technique pioneered by Flavio Poli, in which the glass is layered with an almost invisible seam in two colors, producing a two-toned effect. Here the inner part of the dish/ashtray is a brown-mahogony color, and the outer layer is a honey gold color. This is wrapped in a faceted shell of clear glass. The overall optic effect is glorious. Measures approx. 4 1/2" wide at its widest point, and 2-3/16" tall.  This item will be double-boxed to ensure safe carriage to you upon purchase. I am a collector myself and take packaging seriously.
