This mirror-image Satsuma vase set was made by Shūzan ( 秀 山 ) of Japan during the late 19. MIRRORED PAIR! 21 cm Meiji-Era Satsuma Vase Set made by acclaimed Shūzan of Japan! A beautiful feast is captured in gilded detail on this 21cm mirrored pair of vases! From the heyday of high quality Satsuma porcelain, this Meiji-era vase set can be the cornerstone of any collection or a fantastic way to visually balance a shelf! The touching scene is the same on both vases – the only difference is that one is a mirrored image of the other! How deftly executed! This mirror-image Satsuma vase set was made by Shūzan ( 秀 山 ) of Japan during the late 19 th or early 20 th Century! Each vase is delicately hand-signed on the base with Shimazu Crest, and comes on a lovely, hand-carved wooden base! Condition: These vases are in EXCELLENT condition! There is some light wear to the gold gilt, but these vases are largely free from signs of use or wear! The overglaze has an even, thorough crackle that only comes with age!
