This piece features an elegant floral pattern, crafted on their signature warm "Ivory" ceramic body with a scalloped rim and a delicate gold edge. This piece features an elegant floral pattern, crafted on their signature warm "Ivory" ceramic body with a scalloped rim and a delicate gold edge. The border is decorated with distinct blue and gold geometric bands interspersed with vibrant, colorful bouquets of pink, yellow, and purple flowers. A matching, detailed  floral medallion graces the center of the platter. The back bears the authentic double stamp marking: "W.H. GRINDLEY & CO LTD, IVORY, ENGLAND, REG. NO. 714550". The registration number firmly dates this classic English design to the year 1925. This platter is in good antique condition. It shows light signs of age, including overall surface crazing to the glaze which is entirely normal for pottery of this era. Crucially, there are absolutely cracks or structural breaks. It displays beautifully on a stand or can be used as a replacement piece to fill out a vintage dinnerware collection.
