Like I said, it's perfect as is but I think it would look way cool if it were painted a dark wood color. I've always thought this beautiful set from 1984 was perfect. I love the hutch and the "glass" doors that open and the fabric on the chairs... put together very well. The cushions are older and I had added some puffy double sided tape to them years ago so they'd stay on. The mirrored side of the table is fixed to stay on that side and I'm not totally sure, it's been years since I pulled them out, I may have glued a leg or two on because I didn't want them to come loose - I was going to paint the entire set but didn't. I make a lot of dioramas and this entire set was on the list to be painted more natural looking colors and I've never gotten around to it.  The Barbie and the vases will come with this set and I have the original box you can see in the photos. Like I said, it's perfect as is but I think it would look way cool if it were painted a dark wood color.  This table with chairs and the china cabinet are made to impress. It's great for formal or a more casual setting for dining and is accompanied by it's own hostess.  There are no pieces that are broke and it's clean which is a HUGE deal for me when I buy used Barbie furniture online.
