Later, the appropriate refined clay is formed into the desired shape / design. After drying, it is placed in a kiln or stop combustible material in a pit, and then fired. The typical firing temperature is around 1000°C (1530°F) and gradually decreasing to as low as 600°C (1112°F). The iron content reacting with oxygen during the firing gives the product a reddish finish. Finally, the products are hand painted with different beautiful colors, dried, packed with care and shipped to you.
