He is wearing some of the soldier`s regalia. Atop of his head he wears a galea, which is a soldier`s hat. Down his back falls a paludamentum, which is a long cloak fastened over one shoulder, usually signifying the commander`s status. Around his waist he wears a tunic which is customary for soldiers to have it a little above the knee. In his right hand he carries a sword used in offense. The bronze handmade sculpture was cast using the ancient method of lost-wax casting and stained with a brown nd goldpatina finish for preservation.
