My mother was a gifted pianist and painter and most likely the reason that I love beautiful things. This sweet wood box has been a labor of love for me for the past few weeks.  It is a vintage wood silverware box which I found to be charming, although not in it's former condition.  This sweet treasure has been repurposed and now has a new sense of cottage charm with an ivory distressed finish and a French-themed collage decoupaged interior top and bottom (interior only).  It would be wonderful to store fabrics and trims for junk journal or slow stitchers, or simply treasures that you have found along the way. It is difficult for me to part with this piece and I hope that it finds someone who will treasure it!  The lid is hinged and the box measures approximately 16x11.5".  This is fabulous as a gift for someone special.  I made one of these boxes for a dear friend who had just moved into her new home - she cried when she opened it - probably thinking about all of her sweet treasures that could be saved; a reminder of a life full of blessings. *Only intended for dry goods due to the decopauged interior.  Keep in a dry space. *My studio is smoke free *Happy to combine shipping (any shipping refunds are made after the items are packaged and weighed.) *You can view my studio on Instagram @MywildflowerstudioMN - enjoy!
