Made of durable pressed glass, this beautiful 1960's era survivor measures 12 5/8" width at top, 3" tall and 5" across at bottom. Stunning blue sapphire textured press glass in a hammered or pebble like design. Has Arcoroc's FRANCE hallmark pressed into bottom (last picture). Background: The vintage Arcoroc of France "Vercors Sapphire" textured blue serving bowls were primarily manufactured in the 1960s. The Arcoroc brand name itself was introduced in 1963 by Arc International. The Vercors pattern was part of their commercial-grade glassware line, known for being durable and made of pressed, toughened glass. Design: The bowls feature a distinctive textured, pseudo-hammered or pebble-like exterior finish and a smooth, glossy interior. Material: The bowls are made of high-quality, durable pressed glass.
