She is standing on a globe and her foot is on the head of the serpent. It is surrounded by stars and below the M are two hearts. The left represents the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the right heart, pierced by a sword, represents Mary. This attractive pocket rosary keychain comes to you from Italy. It is made of glass beads that are royal blue and black with black separating beads. It is 7" in length from the medal to the ring. On the front of the medal is a depiction of the Virgin Mary with the words, "O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to you." She is standing on a globe and her foot is on the head of the serpent. On the reverse is a large "M" from which a cross emerges. It is surrounded by stars and below the M are two hearts. The left represents the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the right heart, pierced by a sword, represents Mary. The medal is 1" long and 1/2" wide. This rosary comes on a card. The ring can be used as a keychain or to attach it to items such as briefcases, purses or strollers. The medal was shown to Sister Catherine Laboure by the Virgin Mother in the 1830's who, through a vision, had her create the medal as shown to her.
