Antique Japanese Imari Porcelain Scalloped Bowl - Meiji Period (1868-1912) Up for sale is a beautiful antique Japanese Arita porcelain shallow bowl. This piece features a striking, hand-painted palette of rich cobalt blue underglaze, rust-orange overglaze enamels, and delicate gold gilt highlights.  The center showcases a sought-after "propeller" or stylized pinwheel floral motif. This central medallion is framed by alternating panels of birds in flight and elegant floral arrangements set against a classic patterned background. The underside features a hand-painted underglaze blue four-character square kiln mark reading "Fuki Choshun" (富貴長春), translating to "Wealth, Honor, and Everlasting Spring." It also retains a historical paper estate label reading "A.D. 1830".
