It is signed with the name of the location, “ Fresne-l’Archevêque  ( Eure ) ”, a small village near Les  Andelys , between Paris and Rouen. Framed, this piece is in good condition,  with the exception of  some craquelures on the surface of the canvas and a slight impression of the stretcher on the upper part of the painting. The wooden frame shows signs of wear including several cracks. Please refer to the detailed photos on this page.
