Beautiful vintage 1970s–1980s Navajo turquoise and silver necklace, represented to me by the vintage dealer I purchased it from as being Navajo-made and dating to the 1970s–1980s. The necklace features an eye-catching turquoise cabochon set in an ornate floral/scroll-style pendant with a unique handcrafted-looking linked silver chain. The cast-style construction and Southwestern design give this piece wonderful vintage character. The necklace measures approximately 24 inches in total length. The pendant measures approximately 1.25 inches. The pendant is attached to the necklace with a shepherd’s hook, allowing it to be easily removed from the chain. This gives you the option of wearing the pendant with the original chain or using it separately with another chain if desired.
