View Vtg Style Ceramic Whippet Greyhound Statue Hollywood Regency Dog Figurine 13.5” with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. Do your research. Does have a lot of crazing which gives it that authentic older piece look. Felt has been added to the bottom. You can see I peeled it back for accurate identification. I did however, research as best I could. This is a late 20th-century contemporary vintage reproduction. The adhesive "Made in China" country-of-origin sticker format seen on the bottom of this piece became the standard requirement for imported goods during the 1990s trade boom. Still a vintage piece, but a vintage reproduction of 1950-60s Original Italian Whippet Greyhound figures. It is a nice piece without having to pay the high price of an original Italian piece. With the research I did I do believe some online are listed as original Italian pieces when they may not be. Do your research. Not all sellers do, they find one and just cut & paste. No chips or cracks. Does have a lot of crazing which gives it that authentic older piece look. Felt has been added to the bottom. You can see I peeled it back for accurate identification.
