Absolutely gorgeous and dramatic vintage mid-century floral-cluster brooch dating approximately 1958–1965. This generously sized dimensional design is arranged with luminous faux baroque pearls, pearlized molded glass and Lucite leaves, and brilliant prong-set aurora borealis glass rhinestones that reflect shifting shades of pink, blue, green and gold. The layered floral spray is assembled from individually prong-set components in a warm gold-tone setting. Heavily riveted stone cups and a traditional rollover safety clasp reflect the substantial construction associated with better-quality mid-century costume jewelry. The brooch measures approximately 3 1/2" x 2". Unsigned; construction and design are consistent with attributed Judy Lee jewelry, but the manufacturer has not been conclusively verified.
