View Vintage 1940’s Corning Unsilvered Tinsel Glass Christmas Ornaments *Set of 4* with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. For sale are 4 vintage Corning/Shiny Brite unsilvered tinsel ornaments produced in the 1940’s. Corning made the glass balls and Shiny Brite produced the ornaments. They are 2” in diameter and have their original metal caps that read Made in USA. Inside each ornament is tree shaped tinsel. The glass is clear, but there are tiny spots of paint on each of them. You can tell that each ornament was originally a different color. I have not tried to remove the remaining paint, but I assume it will come off.
