Although it's new, it has wear. Santa's left foot has broken off and needs reattached. There's also a small chip out of his right eyebrow, and there may be other gentle wear, like stray marks, scuffs/scratches, discoloration, crazing, etc. DESCRIPTION & CONDITION Here is a lovely pale pink and beige Santa Claus ornament by Silvestri. It's new in the package and measures over 5" tall. It was made in the Philippines. I'm not sure of the material, but perhaps ceramic, porcelain, or something similar.   Although it's new, it has wear. Santa's left foot has broken off and needs reattached. There's also a small chip out of his right eyebrow, and there may be other gentle wear, like stray marks, scuffs/scratches, discoloration, crazing, etc.  Please take a close look at all the photos; they are part of the description, and may highlight other flaws or issues I missed.  I received this secondhand and don't know its full history, but my home is smoke-free.
