Ladies, a Torsade is a necklace or bracelet made from multiple strands which are  twisted together and of choker length. Here, this particular Torsade is comprised of 10 mm. Sterling Silver & Hematite beads  set as four strands but with a twist,  each strand is divided into a silver side and a  hematite side Attached to a very secure Silver Clasp with a conch  motif  that is strong enough to twist and hold 264 grams of beads. This is  Handcrafted, Custom Piece gifted to me in the 1980's.  It is a spectacular finish to an outfit and, as you can see from the photos, can be worn many ways.
