Charming rosaline color Murano Glass elephant cub figurine by Archimede Seguso. The figurine is part of his “Alabastro” glass series manufactured in the late 1950’s. Reference and can be found in Leslie Pinas book “Italian Glass Century20” Pages 205 – 207 and a photo of a group of other animals from my my collection is attached for better understanding of the dimensions. The elephant is one of Seguso’s most sought after animal characters and as all of his creations it has a very life like and cheerful appearance. Height 6.5” (16.5 cm) from base to tip of trunk. The glass is in pristine condition, without any signs of damage or age wear and the original manufacturing label is still attached to the base. International inquiries are welcome .
