This is a small antique pendant that is hand fabricated in Sterling Silver, Texas and depicts a stylized Kachina figure which is a traditional spiritual form associated with Hopi and other Pueblo cultures of the American Southwest. The figure features a fan shape, ceremonial headdress, mask like face and a flared, bell-shaped body with split legs The design is constructed from layered sheet silver with applied wire detail details rather than Cast, indicating skilled hand craftsmanship. The reverse is flat, and unmarked. Showing visible solder seams and construction typical of mid 20th century Southwestern Native American jewelry.
