A striking antique Bohemian ruby glass goblet dating to the turn of the 20th century, circa 1895–1915. Minor age-appropriate wear to gilding. A striking antique Bohemian ruby glass goblet dating to the turn of the 20th century, circa 1895–1915. The piece features a richly colored ruby glass bowl decorated with hand-painted grape clusters and leaves, framed by elaborate gilt scrollwork. The rim is finished with a wide gold band, and the clear glass stem and foot are also enhanced with applied gilded ornament and a gold border. The combination of deep cranberry-red glass, enamel painting and gold decoration is characteristic of fine Bohemian export glass from the late 19th to early 20th century.
