Vase glows under blacklight and vase has the characteristic "disappearing" seam lines. This Vintage L.E. Smith Fat Bottom Ribbed 18.5” Amberina Red Swung Vase is a stunning piece of Mid-Century Modern decor. Handmade in the United States during the 1960s, this wide-mouth vase features a unique ribbed design and a fat bottom base. The deep amberina red color adds a touch of vintage charm to any space. Standing at 18 1/2” tall and about 7” wide, this original L.E. Smith swung vase is a true statement piece for collectors of art glass. No chips or cracks. Has some small bubbles and a couple of gray ash flecks embedded in the glass which is common for this type of glass. The glass surface is smooth.
