Vintage 1970s Mattel Sunshine Family Steve, Stephie & Baby Sweets Doll Lot with Furniture, Clothing and Baby Accessories Charming vintage Mattel Sunshine Family lot featuring the original family members Steve, Stephie and Baby Sweets , along with an assortment of miniature nursery furniture, clothing and baby-care accessories. Mattel introduced the Sunshine Family during the 1970s as a wholesome family alternative to traditional fashion dolls. Steve and Stephie measure approximately 9 inches tall, while Baby Sweets is approximately 3 inches tall. This floral dress and Steve’s burgundy-and-khaki outfit are associated with early Sunshine Family releases. Baby Sweets wears the small floral garment shown in the photographs. The additional clothing and accessories are included exactly as pictured; the originality of every individual textile piece has not been independently confirmed. Condition Good vintage played-with condition with wear consistent with age and previous use. The dolls show light surface marks, rubbing and handling wear. Their hair has some tangling, flattening and flyaway strands from storage. Steve is barefoot and his original footwear is not included. The clothing may show wrinkles, loose threads, light discoloration, minor stains or general fabric wear. The extra blue gingham dress has visible loose threads around the sleeves and closures. The plastic nursery furniture and accessories show ordinary scratches, scuffs, discoloration and small marks. The baby bedding and lace pieces may have age-related yellowing, fraying or loose threads. No original box, paperwork or additional accessories are included.
