I now think I would look a little ridiculous as I think they're more for the younger set. I wear a 7 1/2 and these fit perfectly, nice and snug. (AI says a 5 1/2 would be best if you wear a 7 1/2 though it would be a nice snug fit for you as well. ). When I worked retail in 2013, I bought these for myself and wore them once around the house back then. I now think I would look a little ridiculous as I think they're more for the younger set. I purchased them in the boys department which is why they're a 5 junior. I wear a 7 1/2 and these fit perfectly, nice and snug. (AI says a 5 1/2 would be best if you wear a 7 1/2 though it would be a nice snug fit for you as well. I'm not sure about what AI said because my hockey skates are a boys 4 and again, I wear a 7 1/2 women's.) Anyway, they're amazing so check your size charts before buying and if you're looking for a great pair of Chuck Taylor's, you found them.
