Charming matching pair of vintage Made in Japan Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus musical Christmas figures with wonderful mid-century holiday character. Both Santa and Mrs Claus are fully functional: both wind up and play “Jingle Bells” while dancing/twirling. Tested and working beautifully. Both figures feature classic vintage Japanese Christmas construction with molded character faces and hands, red felt clothing, fluffy white faux-fur style trim, white hair and blue felt accents. Santa wears a blue stocking cap and carries a gold-tone bell, while Mrs. Claus wears a red bonnet and red spectacles. Santa retains his original oval “ALL NEW MATERIAL JAPAN” label on the underside. Approximate measurements: Each figure measures approximately 7” tall × 4.5–5” wide × 5” deep. Condition: Good vintage condition with age-appropriate cosmetic wear. Felt, fabric and white trim show some surface wear, lint and age-related discoloration. Santa’s gold-tone bell shows surface wear.
