What's in it: cowries with their glossy slotted openings, several sizes of cone shells, long slender augers and turret snails, banded turbo and top shells in green and brown, spiny murex, orange and brown checkered cockles, a big pink-blushed scallop, and hundreds of small spotted nassa snails in gray and cream. Colors run from bright white through cream, gold, orange, purple, and deep brown. Sizes run from tiny quarter-inch snails useful for filling and detail work up to shells around three inches. The mix of scales is genuinely useful — most bulk lots give you all one size. Please note: a handful of the scallops have been painted metallic gold or silver, shown clearly in the photos.
