Vintage 1950s MONET Gold-Tone Textured Dome Clip-On Earrings Beautiful pair of vintage MONET clip-on earrings featuring rounded dome forms with an intricate textured openwork design in bright gold-tone metal. Each earring measures approximately 1/2 inch in diameter and is fitted with a traditional clip-on back. Both earrings are clearly signed MONET on the reverse. Family provenance: These earrings belonged to my mother and were worn by her beginning around 1955 . They have remained in our family since that time. The small sculptural dome design has wonderful texture and dimension and is characteristic of stylish mid-century costume jewelry. Very good vintage pre-owned condition with light age-related surface wear. The gold-tone finish remains bright overall.
