From Greece and acquired by my grandparents in the early 1950s. This is a beautiful vintage bronze monastery bell.  This is the wall mount variety with a pull chain for ringing.  Entire bell assembly is 16" tall and 8 1/2" deep.  Bell bears the cast Latin legend "Vocem meam audit qui me tangit": Whoever touches me hears my voice.  Great dragon motif on the counterweight assembly and pull handle.   From Greece and acquired by my grandparents in the early 1950s.  In great condition with a wonderful patina.  Clapper is securely in place, ringer mechanism moves smoothly, and the whole thing looks wonderful.  From my grandparents estate and now ready to become part of your art collection!
