This is one of Hull’s more unusual sculptural forms, featuring a dramatic elongated horn/teardrop silhouette with a large open center. I am not a pottery expert, but I research available references, comparable pieces and auction results to identify and describe each piece as accurately and transparently as possible. This piece comes from a longtime family collection that I am currently helping downsize. Reasonable offers are always welcome! This is one of Hull’s more unusual sculptural forms, featuring a dramatic elongated horn/teardrop silhouette with a large open center. The exterior has a textured, striated finish in soft cream with warm pink/peach and neutral accents, giving it a great Mid-Century decorative look. The underside bears the Hull USA G4 identification. Other documented G4 examples are also identified as Hull cornucopia or Horn of Plenty forms.
