Made in Italy during the late 1960s to 1970s, these collectible jars feature a unique tilted "slant neck" design that makes accessing staples easy. Each jar is embossed with a retro harvest motif featuring a central flower flanked by ears of wheat and stylized leaves. Vintage Cobalt Blue Glass Kitchen Canister Set (3 Pieces) - Slant Front / Tilted Neck Design Beautiful and vibrant set of three (3) vintage cobalt blue glass kitchen canisters. Made in Italy during the late 1960s to 1970s, these  collectible jars feature a unique tilted "slant neck" design that makes accessing staples easy. Each jar is embossed with a retro harvest motif featuring a central flower flanked by ears of wheat and stylized leaves. They feature secure wire-bale flip-top locking mechanisms.  They are also embossed with their capacities on the back, 1.5 &  1 quart.  These markings are somewhat hard to see. Set Includes: Two (2) Medium Canisters: Measure approximately 7.5" tall (approx. 1-Quart capacity each) One (1) Large Canister: Measures approximately 8" tall (approx. 1.5-Quart capacity) Condition Notes: Glass: Excellent vintage condition. Rich, vibrant cobalt blue color. small divot in the rims at the mold seams, this is the way these canisters were produced and not chips.  There are air bubble present. Hardware: The metal wire bails are intact and snap tightly. [ Gaskets: Includes original orange rubber gaskets. They are intact but show age/dryness. If using for airtight food storage, buyers may want to swap them with replacement seals. Markings: Stamped "Made in Italy" on the bottom. Approximate measurements: Larger 1.5 quart canister:  8" High x 5" Diameter canister, 1.5 quart 2 pounds, 10.5 ounces. Smaller canisters: 7.5"High x 4.5" Diameter, 1 quart, 2 pounds, about 2 ounces each.
