It's set with a superb red natural carnelian base, hand polished and wonderfully hand engraved with the name 'Harriet' in very attractive cursive. The frame of the pendant is a typical Georgian style, simple yet with strong flourishes and a concentrically ribbed back. It dates to around 1820 and is in near perfect original condition, with no loss or damage. It weighs 4.6 grams and measures 22 mm tall.
