It is surrounded by genuine clear white topaz round gem accents and multiple round genuine black spinels on each side of the band. It is a truly spectacular ring. The ring setting is new and is sterling silver 925. I decided to have some of the unique gems from my collection set into jewelry for those eBayers who asked me for jewelry made with my gems. So this ring is a OOAK (one-of-a-kind) and won't be found in retail stores, made with a new setting and a gemstone that has been in my collection for many years. I guess you can call this ring both new and old with a gemstone preowned by me, tucked away carefully in my collection and a brand-new sterling silver ring setting. The featured gemstone in this ring is a beautiful  African Amethyst,   purple with red flashes. It is a large stone, cut in an emerald shape, with excellent color and has some clear color banding - just enough to prove it is a genuine amethyst without interfering with the beautiful rich color. The Amethyst alone is 1 3 X 11 mm and weighs 6.5 carats .  It is surrounded by genuine clear white topaz round gem accents and multiple round genuine black spinels on each side of the band. It is a truly spectacular ring. The ring setting is new and is sterling silver 925. The sterling silver has been plated with an expensive coating of Rhodium to make it tarnish resistant and brightly finished.The ring is a size 7. If you need to size this ring I would suggest you speak with your jeweler before buying it to make sure the jeweler knows how to take the extra care of sizing rhodium enhanced sterling silver.  Most likely a jewelry dealer will know how to size it since these days a lot of sterling silver 925 is treated with rhodium to prevent heavy tarnishing. Due to all the tiny stones on the band you could only size it about one size up or down, but talk to your jeweler first.   Now that I'm retired, I'm selling items from my own collections that I will not get the chance to use.   I do not accept returns as my goal is to thin out my collections and getting them to people that will love them and use them.  Therefore, please read the description carefully and feel free to ask any questions you have via eBay email before you buy or bid.
