View Vintage WWII Original EMPTY BOX SHINY BRITE Feather Tree K W Glass Ornaments Cer with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. The Feather Tree Design Box and Lid are in beautiful condition for old cardboard. There are two split corners with tape/residue on the lid. Manufactured and used in the United States between 1939 and 1945, encompassing WWII, this original box is a rare find. This vintage box (bottom and lid) is a must-have for collectors of the first SHINY BRITE ornaments. The Feather Tree Design Box and Lid are in beautiful condition for old cardboard. There are two split corners with tape/residue on the lid. One additional lid corner has had a bump as shown in the provided photos. There are no split corners on the bottom of the box but there is some slight deformation of shape and a dink on the long edge as shown. There is a family name written on the top of the box lid and a bit of residue under the word glass and under the name as shown in the provided photographs. Manufactured and used in the United States between 1939 and 1945, encompassing WWII, this original box is a rare find. This box, which reads 45 East 17th Street is earlier than the next variation which reads 39-45 East 17th St. This box was manufactured by K W Glass Works, Inc. and the Box Top reads: SHINY BRITE Registered American Made Glass Tree Ornaments Factories K. & W. Glass Works, Inc. North Bergen, N. J. West New York, N. J. Max Eckardt & Sons, Inc. 45 East 17th Street, New York City The end of the Box Top reads: 1 Dozen SHINY BRITE Glass Tree Ornaments Made in U.S.A.
