The Santa Maria aquamarine is a rare and highly valued shade of aqua blue.The center aquamarine is 5X3mm oval cut and weighs 0.22 ct.   Aquamarine Brown Zircon New with tag. Beautiful ring in size 6.  The genuine aquamarine in this ring is from  the Santa Maria de Itabira mine in Brazil, and the accent stones are brown and white zircon (a natural gemstone, not to be confused with the man made one by a similar name).  The setting is sterling silver stamped 925. The Santa Maria aquamarine is a rare and highly valued shade of aqua blue.    The center aquamarine is 5X3mm oval cut and weighs 0.22 ct.  Surrounding it glitters a halo of round cut white zircons.  Brown zircons decorate each shoulder of the ring, and compliment the blue of the aquamarine.  All of the stones together add up to 0.5ct.  The sterling silver setting shows off the stones nicely, and the setting has a comfortable under gallery.  This is a very pretty aquamarine ring.
