Architecture  The four-story reinforced concrete building shown was the result of a renovation completed in April 1936. Post-War Use  After World War II, the building was requisitioned by the GHQ during the Allied occupation. It was returned to Japanese control in 1955 and reopened as the Yokohama Shochiku Cinema.
