Beautiful handmade early 1900s Anglo Indian sheesham wood trinket box with intricate brass inlays. The brass inlay is on the top, front, both sides, inside the lid, and all four corners have thicker bands of brass inlay giving it a beautiful look. Beautiful handmade early 1900s Anglo Indian sheesham wood trinket box with intricate brass inlays.   The brass inlay is on the top, front, both sides, inside the lid, and all four corners have thicker bands of brass inlay giving it a beautiful look. The hinges are sturdy, as is the inner removable shelf. Flaws: The top of the box shows some wear on the one side; there is a small piece of wood missing from the back (bottom) of the box; and some of the inlay is protruding in a few areas - see pictures of mentioned flaws.  It has a key hole to lock it, but no key. The box measures 9 3/4" long x 7 1/8" wide x 4" tall.  It weighs approx. 4 pounds. It is simply lovely. Condition: Used. Category: Collectibles › Decorative Collectibles › Boxes, Jars & Tins.
