This is a classic 2 strand Spiney Oyster and Turquoise Nugget Necklace with 2 large Turquoise Heishi Jaclas. The jaclas each have 10 shell corn beads at the bottom and 4 tiny red spun glass beads at the top. This is a classic 2 strand Spiney Oyster and Turquoise Nugget Necklace with 2 large Turquoise Heishi Jaclas. The jaclas each have 10 shell corn beads at the bottom and 4 tiny red spun glass beads at the top. The turquoise disc heishi rang from 4 mm to 11 mm in diameter. The necklace is  27 inches long measured from the closure knot back to the knot; giving a hanging length of 13.5 inches. The Jaclas add 5 inches to the hanging length, giving a hanging length of 18.5 inches. The orange spiney oyster beads are roughly 16 - 23 millimeters wide.  The turquoise is various shades of robin's egg blue. The shell heishi are a light off-white color. The necklace weighs 6.0 ounces. This is a necklace that was lovingly worn by previously owners. The beads do show polishing, chipping, and wear from being worn. I believe the Jaclas were made by a different artist and added to the necklace later.    They are knotted onto the bottom of the necklace; they could be removed to use separately.
