Set of 12 fine porcelain china dinner plates made in Bavaria by Johann Haviland made between early to mid 20th Century, 1930 and 1950. The gold band appears around the edge of each plate. The embossed gold leaf decoration on the rim is exquisite. Set of 12 fine porcelain china dinner plates made in Bavaria by Johann Haviland made between early to mid 20th Century, 1930 and 1950. Each plate measures 10 3/4 inches in diameter and decorated with a wide border of cobalt blue trim, overlaid with elaborate gold filigree. The gold band appears around the edge of each plate. The embossed gold leaf decoration on the rim is exquisite. The plates have been beautifully decorated using a gold transfer printing technique.  Small gold images appear on top of the plate's main cream background. 11 of the plates marked with E514 15. 1 Plate marked with E 514 14.
