This is a beautiful antique set bearing  the white ware  mark   LIMOGES FRANCE  and the  mark of the importer Marshall Fields Chicago .  The decoration is hand painted . Every little rose is different from the others, meticulously painted, signed on the cups and pot by the artist Paul. The hand painted work could have been done in France or  more likely in Chicago for Marshall Fields. The handles and the spout are heavily gilded. The porcelain is white and translucent. The  large lidded pot is 10" high with lid and 8" wide from spout to handle. The five chocolate cups are 3 1/2" high. The six saucers are more than 5" in diameter. The condition of this set is excellent with  no  chips, cracks, repairing  nor crazing and minimum wear to the gold.  T his gorgeous set will be shipped insured and double boxed.
