Vintage Hazel Atlas Ovide Platonite Coffee Cup & Saucer Set of 4 White w/Lime Green Trim In 1936, Hazel-Atlas introduced a type of glass called Platonite, which looks very much like ordinary milk glass but has a more translucent quality.  The Ovide pattern is said to be the most commonly found pattern of the Hazel Atlas Platonite dinnerware, and it was available in many colors in the 1940s and 1950s. This set of matching cups and saucers comes in the plain white Platonite with a lime green trim. There is no maker's mark on any of the pieces Measurements Approx. 2 1/8 inches tall Approx. 3.5 inches long w/out the handle and 4 3/8 inches long including the handle  Approx. 3.5 inches wide Approx. capacity is 6 oz. Condition Items are preowned but in good condition.  There are no chips or cracks.  There is some paint loss of the green trim, some scratches on the saucers, and one saucer has a faint dark mark.  Please see pictures for details.
