Vintage SANKYO Acrylic Heart Shaped Musical Jewelry Box Plays (See Video) This is a vintage musical jewelry box from an unknown maker, circa the early 1980's. The heart shaped piece is made of a hard plastic, and the lid is inscribed with musical sheet music. The lid lifts up to give access to the jewelry storage area which is lined with red velveteen. The piece houses a Japanese made 1 tune 18 note Sankyo musical movement which has been professionally serviced and restored to "AS NEW" condition by the seller, Music Box Repair Center Unlimited. The musical movement has a winding key located on the bottom of the piece, and when wound will play when the lid of the piece is opened (see video).
