Set iron to medium high heat without steam 2. Peel the backing and place the patch down on the fabric, design facing upwards. 3. Place fabric over the patch to protect from the heat. 4. Press iron firmly over the surface and hold for 50 seconds. 5. Turn the whole fabric inside out and iron the back again for 20 seconds. You may also sew the patch down for a more permanent stick. These patches are made of felt, so be sure to protect them from the heat when ironing. The best protection is a cotton or similar fabric shirt. If the patch does not stick down, you may need to use a higher temperature on the iron.  The best fabrics to adhere these patches to are cotton, polyester or denim. They will not attach well to vinyl, leather, or nylon materials.
