The back is a solid color. Soft material that could be a velvet or other blend. There is no tags. I purchased a box full of these at a estate sale. I am unsure of their exact age. I have sold many and are now down to just a few left. These had particial names monogrammed on them. I took that off. Many have purchases from me with the names on them and changed the names. This is now blank on the top of this stocking where I did this. Some has slight damage PLEASE SEE PICTURES. They had been carefully wrapped in tissue paper and stashed away. You could place a name plate made of velvet or other materials over the top of the name area. Measures approx. Tall: 19" from top by loop to tip of toe( see picture) Widest area: 6" Old new stock with some stitching removed at the top where partial names were.
