Condition: Pre-owned. Antique Sargent 5334 mortise lock set plus two face plates and door knobs taken from a home that was built between 1910-20 according to the previous owner. There are no keys provided with this! You will have to find a replacement key or skeleton key to use. I was told all the pieces to the Sargent lock are there (minus the key). I do not know if this is true or not. If you are handy or are into restoration projects, you could probably find the patent info if you need more to rebuild the lock mechanism.The metal for the door knobs and face plates looks to be antiqued bronze or brass. I'm unsure. It has a nice patina if you want to leave it as is or would probably be stunning cleaned up. The face plates have a little bit of old paint on the edges. The knobs themselves are in good shape with no dents.There are no rods or screws.Great for period restoration projects or tinkerers who like to rebuild old stuff and make it work again.
