The vessel is hollow all the way through, with a continuous interior channel that is fully patterned—an uncommon detail in studio pottery. Signed on the base with incised initials that appear to read “CVVY.” This is a one-of-a-kind art pottery piece, likely late 20th century, made as a sculptural form rather than a functional vase.
