Quantity in one set : 1 pc. Legendary of Luang Pu Thuad Yeab Nam Tale Jued Luang Pu Thuad was born in Sathing Phra District, Songkhla Province. As he grew up, he was ordained as a monk and traveled to Ayutthaya, where he studied Dharma and Pali language. He had the opportunity to translate Buddhist scriptures, helping to save the country and protect Ayutthaya with his astonishing wisdom – a great scholar of his time! Around the age of 80, he returned to his birthplace and resided at Wat Phakho in Sathing Phra District, Songkhla Province. The villagers therefore called him "Somdej Chao Phakho" or "Luang Pu Thuad of Wat Phakho." Later, he traveled to reside and become the abbot of Wat Chang Hai in Khok Pho District, Pattani Province. This led devotees to call him "Luang Pu Thuad of Wat Chang Hai." In summary, Luang Pu Thuad of Wat Phakho and Luang Pu Thuad of Wat Chang Hai are the same monk. During his lifetime, Luang Pu Thuad once traveled by sailing ship to Ayutthaya. On the return journey, a violent storm and strong waves struck, forcing the ship to stop at an island. After a short time, the fresh water on the ship began to dwindle, and there wasn't enough for drinking. Many of the crew members became worried and complained that they had never encountered such misfortune in their entire sailing careers. They believed that this bad luck was due to taking the monk on board and decided to abandon him on the island. However, Luang Pu Thuad was not angry. Instead, he performed a miracle for everyone to witness. Immediately, he dipped his left foot into the sea, and the extremely salty water turned into clear, fresh water that was safe to drink. The crew were astonished and filled with reverence. The ship's owner bowed and apologized, then invited the monk back onto the ship before they safely continued their journey to Ayutthaya. Some legends also say that Luang Pu Thuad was captured by pirates who wanted to test his powers. But soon, the ship could not sail any further, drifting aimlessly in the sea for many days until their drinking water ran out. He then mercifully displayed his supernatural power by dipping his left foot into the sea, turning it into fresh water for everyone to drink and quench their thirst.
