This beautiful teacup has been well cared for over the decades. The Great: NO chips, NO cracks, NO crazing, NO utensil damage, and NO shelf wear on the dry foot. Backstamps on all four cups are clear and legible. The Flaws:   For each of the four teacups available, there is some wear on the handle trim --- some loss of the applied gold trim on the handles where you would hold the cup (SEE last photo in the listing for a closeup).   The gold trim is slightly worn on the rim of all four cups (SEE the next-to-the-last photo in the listing for a closeup of one cup). The thicker gold trim line on the base of all four cups is nearly like new.  Note to Buyers: Please closely review the closeup photographs (especially the final two photos) to inspect the specific trim wear on the cup's rim to ensure this gorgeous mid-century piece meets your expectations.
