Vintage Block Crystal Stockholm Cobalt Blue Martini Glasses - Signed Description: Up for sale are 8 stunning martini glasses in the highly sought-after "Stockholm" pattern by Block Crystal. Produced between 1998 and 2009, this discontinued line features a vibrant, deeply saturated cobalt blue bowl sitting on a beautiful clear stem with a weighted base. Just below the blue bowl where the clear stem begins its taper, there is a teardrop shaped bubble captured in the stem in each exquisitely handmade glass. Authenticity & Craftsmanship: Each glass is officially signed with the "BLOCK" acid etch in all-caps on the outer edge of the clear base. These pieces were commissioned by Block and expertly hand-crafted, mouth-blown, and hand-polished by master glass-makers in Poland. Because these are genuinely mouth-blown artisan pieces, they feature charming, authentic characteristics unique to handmade glass—including slight variations in individual weight and tiny, embedded factory air bubbles (seeds) trapped beautifully in the crystal. Condition: Excellent modern vintage condition! There are absolutely no chips or cracks, or but they have been used frequently over the last 20 -25 years. They have been meticulously cared for. Please note that original box and paper stickers are not included, but the permanent acid-etched signature is present on the base.
