Each piece features a scalloped rim, elegant tripod feet, and delicate gold gilt floral and vine scrollwork details around the interior border. Excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The gold trim shows minor age-appropriate wear. Each bowl has a tiny pinhead-sized black spot inside, they are most likely from the manufacturing process. Dimensions: Approx. 2 inches in diameter x 1.25 inches tall. Maker’s mark: Blue stamped “Hand Painted NIPPON” with the Rising Sun logo on the underside, dating approximately to 1911–1921. Some sources speculate this mark may have been used by Morimura Bros. before they adopted their better-known wreath mark, though there is not enough evidence to confirm this.
